Avoid Self medication

Many people have a habit of taking medicines on their own. It’s a dangerous practice because we may not be aware of the side effects of these drugs. It may not be necessary that if any medicines benefit one patient will benefit the other one. To give an example pain killer should not be taken without Doctors Prescription as it may cause severe damage to kidney or liver. Today I encounter with the same case which is worth mentioning here. One intelligent person was taking pain killer for 7 days continuously without Doctors advise and laded with kidney damage. In the same way Doctor has advise you medicine specially antibiotics for 5 days, in a particular doses follow it strictly. Please do not deviate from the given time and do not stop the medicine on your won before the course is complete as it may lead to development of resistance of micro organism to this medicine and in future the same medicine will not act. When the medicine is prescribed 1 tab. 3 times a day means this

Do and don’t in case of fainting affects

Falling down is the nature’s way of supplying blood to the brain.  A person get fits whenever there is less blood flow to the brain (Oxygen supply). In this situation, on lookers should never crowd around the person who got fit and fallen down that will certainly reduce the supply of oxygen to the patient. Bystander should ensure that the patience should not be injured and immediately turn his face to one side so that the tongue will not fall back and will not lead to obstruction to air passage and put the spoon or any cloth between upper and lower teeth so that he does not bite his tongue. Last but not the least call the Doctor or take him to nearest hospital so that further course of action can be taken on time. Stay Fit Stay happy!

Small talk on fever

Today I am going talk about the Fever which will help you to understand the mechanism and treatment of fever. Whenever any micro organism i.e. Bacteria and Viruses enter any person’s body, it reacts with increase in number of White blood cell (WBC) in the blood. These WBCs fight against this micro organism and chemicals which are produce during this fight give rise to fever. The Symptomatic treatment for fever is paracetamol and tepid sponging i.e. applying wet towels to the entire body and not only on the forehead as shown in movies. Tepid sponging work on the simple principle of physics that is the temperature moves from higher denomination to lower denomination. In children particularly the temperature should not rise more than 100  ° F  as it may lead to convulsions. In India, any fever with chills unless proved otherwise is due to malaria. Evening rise of Fever with loss of appetite and loss of weight may be due to TB. The appropriate investigation and treatment should
